Welcome to Southeast Cherokee Construction
Southeast Cherokee Construction, Inc. was incorporated December 2, 1983 in the State of Alabama. We are a privately owned corporation with a Vertical Division Office in Abbeville, Alabama and Horizontal Division Offices in Montgomery, Alabama and Wetumpka, Alabama. We currently have project offices serving the following Government Facilities: Hurlburt Field, Florida; Robins AFB, Georgia; Environmental Protection Agency, Maxwell/Gunter AFB, Alabama, Environmental Protection Agency, Gulf Ecology Division, Florida, and MCLB Albany, GA.
Mrs. Lynn M. Carter serves as sole officer of the corporation, retaining 100% stock interests. The purpose for which the corporation was organized is to conduct general building, contracting and construction business, including erecting, constructing, enlarging, improving, repairing, altering, renovating, or otherwise engaging in any work upon buildings, structures, roads and properties of all kinds and description.

Current Project
MCLB Albany, GA – Design-construction of a $5.373 million new dehumidification warehouse for the storage of Light Armored Vehicles (LAV).
Warehouse is 70,000 SF with a clear span of 200 feet and an interior clear height of 24 feet. Work involves demolition of an existing concrete pad, installation of concrete foundation and flooring, metal building, fire protection system, dehumidification units, interior electrical system and fire alarm system. Completion of the project is scheduled for late fall of 2009.
